Boost Student Confidence with CAASPP Practice Tests
Did you know your students can prepare themselves to be successful on the CAASPP by taking CAASPP practice tests on the state website? By engaging with these practice tests, students can learn how to navigate the testing interface, familiarize themselves with the test tools, and apply all the vocabulary and test tips they’ve been absorbing throughout the school year. What a great way to boost student confidence and accelerate student achievement! Logging in is easy – simply have your student follow these CAASPP Practice Test login directions. (Video below)
Items to note:
- Practice Tests are not auto-graded, but parents can access the answer key by following these answer key directions – students will need to keep track of their answers by writing them down for the parent to reference later
- Tests do not have 504/IEP accommodations

Math Academic Vocabulary for Testing
Are you looking for a way to give your student’s math academic vocabulary a boost? If so, here is a cool tool for you to use!
Math vocabulary for each grade level
The vocabulary in the link above is organized by grade level and sourced from the state of California. The purpose of this list is to help students become familiar with the terms and reduce anxiety during the test, as unfamiliar vocabulary can sometimes make it hard to understand what a question is asking. By reviewing these words, students can feel more confident in their ability to interpret and respond to the questions accurately. It will help set them up for success!
