How to Log Attendance in the Parent Portal
Simplified Instructions
- Log into the Parent Portal
- Select the correct Learning Period (LP) for which you are taking attendance
- Click “Review Log”
- Check the day you homeschooled
Detailed Instructions with Screenshots
Step 1: Go to cottonwood.parentstudentportal.com
Step 2: Log in with your username and password provided to you at the beginning of the school year. If you don’t know this information, please contact your teacher and they can provide it for you.
Step 3: Claim attendance. You will be in the Activities Log once logged in. This is where you will claim attendance for your student(s). To do this, select the appropriate Learning Period from the drop-down menu, and click on “Review Log.”
Select days your student engaged in assigned educational activities.
At the end of the Learning Period, you can click “sign and archive” to submit your attendance for the entire learning period.
